I’m Muhammad Shahbaz, an international student in Germany. In October 2024 I started my Master’s in AI and Data Analytics at Hochschule Neu-Ulm (HNU). Today I’m a student at 42 Heilbronn on a scholarship.

I have lived in all three cities this site covers: Ulm, Neu-Ulm, and now Heilbronn. That means I have registered on both sides of the Danube and dealt with the offices in each city myself.

This site collects what I learned at their offices: which building, which floor, which days you can walk in, and what to write on the forms. Every rule and figure is checked against official sources and dated.

Found an error, or changed opening hours? Tell us, and we will check it against the official source and fix it. Been to one of the offices recently? Tell us how long you waited for an appointment and how long it took; we collect these to show realistic waiting times.Send a report.

We keep only the content of your report and its date, and delete your email within 30 days. See the privacy policy.

How we check figures

Every legal or financial figure comes from an official source (federal ministries, the Foreign Office, city websites). Each calculator shows its sources and the date we last checked them. If we cannot verify a figure, we do not publish it.

How the site is funded

Some pages contain affiliate links, marked as such. Payment never affects which providers we recommend or in what order. Calculators run entirely in your browser; your inputs are never sent or stored.
